Make sure the water and ice from your Maytag or Jenn-Air refrigerator is as clean and fresh tasting as possible by replacing its water filter. This Maytag Puriclean II refrigerator water filter is used in Maytag and Jenn-Air refrigerators with filter access inside the refrigerator. It's NSF-certified to reduce cysts, particulates (Class I), lead, mercury, and more. (The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water filter are not necessarily in all users' water.) While it effectively removes contaminants from your water and ice, this filter also lowers the taste and odor of chlorine while retaining beneficial fluoride. For the highest quality water and ice, your refrigerator's water filter needs to be changed over a period of time as its effectiveness at cleaning the water is reduced. For optimal results, you should replace this refrigerator water filter every 12 months to ensure clean, safe drinking water and ice. Your refrigerator will even remind you when to change its filter, turning on an indicator light found near the water dispenser. Changing the filter is easy--just locate the old filter, twist and turn it until it becomes loose, then pull the old filter out and replace with the new filter. Question : What tools would you suggest for a beginner at sculpting in limestone?
I want to know what basic tools I need and a brief description of what they are for. I have two small wood chisels but I would like a better range of tools to make it a little easier. Thanks mike1942f and tigris. Both answers were very helpful.
Answer:
You will destroy the wood chisels if you use them on stone - you need hard "cold" chisels of various shapes made specifically for the purpose along with various weight hammers and grind stones for sharpening and reshaping your tools. Here is a brief tutorial http://www.stonecarver.com/carvtool.html and a source http://www.miconproducts.com/wedges.html and another http://www.stonesculptorssupplies.com/

Question : What tools does an electrician apprentice need to have for sure; and mechanic in his garage?
What tools does an electrician apprentice need to have for sure; any tool you can think of? What are the tools that an electrician and mechanic uses in his garage and on different jobs and things. What is some of the most expensive tools he needs to think about when he is going out shopping; is their a better kind to look for;
Answer:
Oh, that’s a leading question. Whatever tools you get, you’ll usually need the one you didn’t bring. Basic, basic tools are:Work Gloves (leather is acceptable)Multi-meterNon-contact voltage tester (also called a “wiggler”)Screwdriver set -- or a “multi” or 4-in-1 type. You need at least a #1 and #2 Phillips (cross-point), and smaller and larger slot screwdriver (sizes will vary).Allen wrench set (hex set)A shorter screwdriver (“stubby”) and an offset screwdriver will be helpful, too.Lineman’s pliers (pliers include heavy-duty cutter)Long-nose pliersWire StripperWire-cutter (for copper wire)Small hammerThere are a number of other tools that you will need, but you will know them as you do more complex projects.Always think safety first – confirm that the circuit you’re working on is not energized (has no power).Move cautiously – even though the majority of your tools will have insulation, that will not stop the tool from shorting a circuit if one of them is energized (even when you’re not working on that one).Work with a partner. If one of you runs into trouble, the other can help out.

Question : What tools will I need to replace the filler valve mechanism in my toilet?
I'm borrowing some tools, and the instructions are not with me. I'd like to know what tools I need to replace that filler and valve mechanism in my toilet. Thanks so much.
Answer:
A pair of slip-joint ChannelLocks that will open to at least 1 1/2" (one-and-a-half-inches) to remove the water line from under the toilet AFTER you turn off the water at the shutoff valve (also called the 'angle stop') on the wall and to remove the bigger nylon nut under the toilet that holds the fill valve in place. And a knife to cut the little black overflow-tube hose. Have a bucket and rags handy. When installing the new fill valve, get everything hand-tight, then use the ChannelLocks to tighten it a little bit more. Reattach the water supply line to the toilet, turn the wall valve on SLOWLY and then flush the toilet after it fills, checking for function and for leaks. I like Fluidmaster 400 fill valves...straightforward, easy to install, etc., costs about $8.

Question : What were the first copper tools created?
After the discovery of copper working and before the discovery of bronze, the History channel said that copper was used to make tools and decorations. They showed a lot of copper decorations, but no tools. So, what tools DID early man make from copper? Could they make swords, even if they had to be sharpened often? Could they make axes? Hammers? What tools could they make?P.S. It was hard to decide what topic to put this question in.
Answer:
it seems to me that the VERY first things that would be made would be the most simple. a small blade for instance; a knife. possibly an arrowhead; simple tools for hunting/preparing food. tools of war, like the sword you mentioned, would be made later

Question : What tools will I need to install the heater plug in my F250 diesel super duty pickup?
I would like to install one of those plugs which you can use to connect a device to keep the engine warm when the weather is cool. What tools exactly will I need? How long should the task take, once the tools and stands are assembled? Have you ever done this before? Thanks & have a nice day.
Answer:
Since there are a number of different units, - even including one that heats the water directly to keep the engine warm (which is the most effective and reliable (if you have electricity available), - in fact there is even one that has propane heater, (so that you can park anywhere - even if electric not available and keep engine warm!) These are known a "tank heaters"!Check auto supply where you are getting part, - also there may be instruction sheet that you can read (even before buying), - so you can see what is needed, and where and how it is installed. Usually you will have what you need if you have a "basic set of tools" avaialble! If some "special tool" is needed, - they can usually tell you what you need!
